It's been a few years since I've updated our website but we've got a lot of wonderful updates on the way IYKYK.
To recap the last few years, here are some very abridged updates:
2019 - We have the privilege of attending sooo many beautiful weddings. I continued to work on my surfing and even traveled to Puerto Rico to surf every day and improve catching white water. Adam and I attended our first concert together with our friends Chris and Andrea where we saw deadmau5 (thanks to our friends Tom and Nat for giving us those tickets). Jae attended the Formula 1 US Grand Prix in Austin, TX. We traveled to New York/Vermont for Christmas and at the time we didn't realize that it would be the last time for a while.
2020 - What a difficult year, especially for someone like me who loves to be out and about. I played A LOT of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. We adopted 3 cats: a mommy cat and her two kittens.
2021 - Vaccines meant we could travel a little more, which meant more trips to San Diego, a trip to Vermont, weddings and family gatherings, and visits from family members. In June, I left Mapbox and joined a company called Segment as a Senior Program Manager in Customer Success.
2022 - Attended more weddings, including a trip to the east coast for cousin Steve + Kaitlin’s wedding and a quick trip to Texas for a wedding and a video game tournament. I went to a week-long surfing camp in Costa Rica. At the end of October, I accepted a position as a Manager of the Customer Success Product Adoption Programs.
2023 - We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. In June, we joined my dad’s family in Hawaii and met up with some family members I hadn’t seen in over 20 years. In July, we flew out to the east coast for cousin Emily + Nathan’s wedding.

It’s our 1 year anniversary today! YAY! Oh how time flies! We have been very busy this year so we wanted to update y’all on our adventure.
In September 2018, we bought a house in Redwood City, CA. It was a lot of work so we want to thank our parents for all of their help. Jae was promoted at work in October, which definitely helped with the new mortgage.
Since then, we’ve welcomed a lot of guests into our new home; cousin Emily, brother Jonathan, Mama Nel and Popz Randy, Daddy Douggie and Cecille, and cousin Max. To all our family and friends: you’ve got a place to stay in Redwood City, CA…..”Climate best by government test.” — no joke; that’s the slogan on the city that we live in.
Earlier this month, we said good-bye to Kylie Bear, our 13-year-old Corgi who has brought us so much joy over the years.
Lastly, we’re happy to announce that Jae has accepted an opportunity to join the Mapbox team in San Francisco and starts on May 13th.

It's our anniversary today! Our old one. Before we were married. Oh how time does fly. We got some amazing news today and we cannot wait to share it with you but for now, the website is now updated with a decent amount of our wedding photos so we'll be sending out our thank you cards and announcements. We have a pretty good excuse for taking so long, we promise. Talk to you soon!

I have been the worst about getting these Thank You cards and Wedding Announcements out. It's just been really crazy because Adam and I have been on the hunt....House Hunt!

Post wedding update!!
It's been a little over a month since our big day. I can't believe how quickly it came and went. We just received our wedding announcement cards so those will be going out soon (hopefully, if we can get all the addresses we need) and our thank you cards are expected to arrive on Tuesday.
In anticipation for the increased web traffic, I went ahead and updated the website by adding a new section, "Our Big Day."
Updates from us: since we got back from our honeymoon, we've been in full house hunting mode. For right now, we are subletting from Tyler in the Monroe Street house and then once we find our new home, we'll be updating everyone of our new address.

Hope everyone had an awesome Christmas. Adam and I are wrapping up our visit to San Diego. We were able to get so much done for the wedding. We met with our wedding coordinator, Gina, sampled the food we'll be serving at the wedding, and worked out more details for our special day.
I can't believe how much it's all coming together so I want to say thank you to all of our friends and family who are helping out with this day.

Happy holidays wonderful people! We are finally gaining momentum as we close in on the big day. Catering is being finalized and Adam and I are actually going to sample the food today, you know, for quality assurance.

Hello all of you gorgeous humans. Adam and I are planning away for our day and we can't express how excited we are to celebrate with all of you.
Now that we have the venue and the photographer locked down, we're working finalizing plans with a caterer. It's too real, Roys! Thanks to everyone who filled out their dietary restrictions in the RSVP form. This is making things a lot easier to plan.
We'll be updating the details on the GUEST page whenever we have new information for you. We wanted a way to keep everything updated and in one place so thanks for humoring us with our paperless invites.
